About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Cost Controls Lead, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Analyst or Senior Cost Analyst to provide support to our Project Managers. This specialist position is located in SA and will support with planning Control Accounts pertaining to budgeting, schedule integration as well as preparing and providing performance reports, forecasts and analysis. An important requirement of this role will be to capture earned value and financial data from multiple sources into consolidated project data.
To be considered for this permanent full time opportunity it is imperative that one must display expert knowledge across the following accountabilities:
- Proven ability to analyse data and work to the required deadlines
- Demonstrated ability of applying Earned Value Management principles and providing accurate and timely information to Project Managers
- Extensive experience across preparing periodic Cost Performance Reports
- Demonstrated experience in providing guidance to stakeholders on potential problems as early as possible
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in Project Planning & Controls as well as extensive exposure in applying Earned Value Management principles. To be considered for this opportunity, we do require an expert who can also display exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities as well outstanding communication and negotiation skills. You will also be tertiary qualified in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Engineering and be proficient with the MS Suite particularly Excel.
