About the role
This role is responsible for maintaining processes and administration relating to the management, allocation, acquisition and disposal of Group assets.
In this role, you will:
- Constantly reviews and re-adjusts goals and plans to ensure they provide a challenge.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutory obligations and Thiess policy
- Maintain the development and use of dashboards and other tools to track asset allocations, acquisitions and disposals
- Monitor input to support decisions regarding rebuilding or disposal timing based on technical and financial analysis
- Create clear reporting and recommendations to guide asset management and operational planning decisions
- Collaborates with other teams to align fleet strategies and business objectives
- Maintain capital planning and budgeting through robust data analysis and scenario modelling.
- Create data sources to provide insight to stakeholders to better inform strategic decision making
- Uses inputs from stakeholders to complete documentation and workflows relating to asset acquisition (e.g. Capital Expenditure Request, Rental Request, Asset Change/Movement forms)
- Maintain maintenance of workflows related to asset acquisition, allocation and disposal
About you
- Engineering degree or mechanical trade qualification or equivalent qualifications / experience
- 4+ years' experience in relevant engineering, trade or fleet roles
- Demonstrated Leadership capability
- Demonstrated systems thinking ability and design
- Experience with sustainability technologies preferred
- Experience with assets and/or mine planning
- Commercial acumen
- Innovation implementation
- Ability to negotiate with stakeholders and influence outcomes
