The Project is an iron-oxide copper-gold resource featuring multiple open pits and is poised to become the largest greenfield copper mine in Queensland.

The opportunity:
Thiess is inviting Expression of Interests from skilled Production Operators to join our high-performing team at the Eva Copper Mine Project, in the Cloncurry region of Queensland, Australia.
Set to become the largest copper mine in Northwest Queensland, the Eva Copper Mine is an iron oxide copper gold resource located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People, approximately 75km north of Cloncurry and 95km north-east of Mount Isa.
We are building a high-performing team and are seeking operators across a range of talent:
- Truck Operators (CAT 789+)
- Multi Skilled Operators
- Excavator Operators (Hitachi 5600+ or equivalent)
- Dozers Operators (D10, D11)
- Loaders Operators
- Grader Operators (18M+)
- Watercart Operators (CAT 777)
This is an opportunity to join a landmark project from the ground up.

About you:
- Minimum of 1 year of prior working experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Loaders, or Excavators (600T) in a mining environment
- SSE signed training transcripts
- Current Drivers Licence
- A commitment to a positive safety culture
