What you’ll do
This role will work closely with the Finance Lead and stakeholders across Thiess, MACA, and PYBAR to support reconciliations, reporting, and process alignment during and after the migration.
You’ll be involved in GL and balance sheet reconciliations, journal development, EOM tool design, and training support. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys solving complex financial and systems challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Support GL and balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and EOM process tools.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to align processes and ensure data integrity.
- Assist in developing financial reports, testing dashboards, and validating data migration.
- Contribute to training, documentation, and post-go-live support for MACA and PYBAR teams.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
You are a finance professional with strong analytical skills and ERP experience, ready to contribute to a high-impact transformation project. You bring a collaborative mindset, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your ability to work across teams and manage competing priorities will be key to your success in this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or similar roles.
- ERP or finance system implementation project experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business process documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Experience working with JD Edwards highly regarded
- Willingness to travel to Perth (minimum one week/month) or be based in Perth.
