Job Description:
Six-week residential position: living with high school students Sunday evening through Friday afternoons, while students are living on campus in dorms in the Upward Bound Program. Program provides room and board while students are on campus as well as a salary. Program six weeks in length, June 2-July 12, 2024. Option travel/chaperone possible: July 14-20, 2024. Must be available for staff training during the week 5/6-10/24-exact date/time to be determined. Position also supervises six residential assistants to ensure adequate participant coverage while minors are living on campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Good attendance record.
• A demonstrated ability to understand and work with low-income and/or disadvantaged students.
• Ability to understand and work well with students, parents, teachers and target school personnel
