Maritime & Safety Training Coordinator	Fletcher Technical Community College	Houma, LA
A 12-month staff position domiciled at Fletcher’s Houma-Dickson Road Facility. The Maritime & Safety Training Coordinator will be the initial point of contact for individuals entering the facility and is responsible for welcoming and assisting guests, prospective students and current students upon arrival. This position will also provide support for Maritime and Safety programs, courses, faculty, staff, and students and assist with efforts to increase student enrollment and retention. This position will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and fully functional training operation.
Digital Designer II - LED FastStart	LCTCS	Baton Rouge, LA
The Digital Designer (II) will be responsible for assisting the development of interactive training modules including eLearning, Simulations, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and other mixed reality platforms. Working with team members, the candidate will develop storyboards, prototypes, and establish guidelines for projects by authoring effective copy, audio, and video scripts that breakdown complex processes into engaging, interactive exercises and practice experiences. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of learning theories, previous working experience in training development, and a design focused on heavy gamification methodology as well as a curious and investigative nature to apply new principles to training and exceed client expectations. Reports to AI and Digital Production Director. LED FastStart’s primary focus is to assist new and expanding companies in recruitment, training, and sustaining each company’s workforce pipeline. Instructor - Anatomy and Physiology Lecture or Labs	SOWELA	Lake Charles, LA
Teach college-level biology courses in anatomy and physiology lecture and/or lab formats. Responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, moderating classroom discussions, and administering and grading examinations. Maintains accurate grade and attendance records. Adheres to all laws pertaining to disclosure of student records. Be available to students via email, phone and/or in person conference. Receives training or stays current in technological and/or pedagogical advances that promote student learning.
Supervisor - Maintenance	SOWELA	Lake Charles, LA
The Maintenance Supervisor works under the direction of the Executive Director Facilities Planning and Management. The supervisor is responsible for the staff of Facilities Maintenance who perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, HVAC, and other machine and electrical servicing for SOWELA. The supervisor is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing specialized facilities management services, while ensuring the campus buildings, grounds, systems, equipment, and supplies are maintained. The scope of work includes completing preventative maintenance schedules as well as restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Creating and delivering reports, presentations, trainings, and other communication are essential functions.
