Director of Outreach and Recruitment for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program	DCC	New Orleans, LA	31 Jan 2026
The Director of Outreach will lead the building of the 10,000 Small Businesses community through the development of outreach and recruiting strategies, cultivates community partner relationships, implements tactics to identify and encourage small business owners to apply for the program, engages program alumni for referrals and to increase the brand awareness of the program. The director also coordinates communication with prospects, scholars, and alumni to assure consistency and frequency of key messaging for 10,000 Small Businesses and Delgado Community College. The 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) initiative is part of a national investment to unlock the growth and job creation potential of small businesses, and is based on the broadly held view of leading experts that a combination of education, business support services, and access to capital best addresses the barriers to growth for small businesses. The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program offers Greater New Orleans area small business owners' access to a practical business and management education. The program enables business owners to recognize new opportunities and embrace practices that will increase the likelihood of business success. The goal of the 10,000 Small Businesses program is to help owners grow their businesses and create new jobs in their communities

This position is responsible for entry of data into the WRU database, answering phones, performing research needed by Adult Education instructors, filing, maintaining student records. This position is responsible for TABE testing, developing reports and analyzing data based on WRU database. This position is the first point-of-contact for Adult Education students and is expected to be professional, welcoming, and provide needed assistance to students. This position may require delivery of tutoring services as indicated by the Director of Adult Education. This position will be responsible for the computer lab and provided instructional assistance to the instructors.
