Digital Designer II - LED FastStart LCTCS Baton Rouge, LA
The Digital Designer (II) will be responsible for assisting the development of interactive training modules including eLearning, Simulations, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and other mixed reality platforms. Working with team members, the candidate will develop storyboards, prototypes, and establish guidelines for projects by authoring effective copy, audio, and video scripts that breakdown complex processes into engaging, interactive exercises and practice experiences. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of learning theories, previous working experience in training development, and a design focused on heavy gamification methodology as well as a curious and investigative nature to apply new principles to training and exceed client expectations. Reports to AI and Digital Production Director. Workforce Initiatives Manager LCTCS Baton Rouge, LA
The Workforce Initiatives Manager will engage with industry and education stakeholders to identify gaps in the workforce development system and develop strategies to address them. LED FastStart Workforce Initiative’s support is offered to both LED FastStart Projects, LED Prospects and other Louisiana workforce initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting regional workforce analyses, defining priorities, collaborating with educational institutions to align offerings to regional needs, and developing strategies to build awareness of opportunities among students and influencers. LED FastStart, Louisiana Economic Development’s single-source, workforce solutions provider is building a world-class team to support Louisiana’s workforce for new and expanding companies. Our primary focus is to assist companies in Recruitment, Training, and Sustaining their workforce during and after their LED FastStart project is closed. We work with each company to develop and deliver customized training programs for their new workforce. The Maintenance Supervisor works under the direction of the Executive Director Facilities Planning and Management. The supervisor is responsible for the staff of Facilities Maintenance who perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, HVAC, and other machine and electrical servicing for SOWELA. The supervisor is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing specialized facilities management services, while ensuring the campus buildings, grounds, systems, equipment, and supplies are maintained.
