9 month Full-time, Grant Funded; Help students improve their basic math, reading comprehension, language, and computer skills so they can achieve industry-based credentials (IBC) to secure entry level employment or advance in their current occupation. The WorkReady U Adult Education Instructor provides appropriate instruction for groups and individuals using materials, tools, equipment, and scenarios to meet student’s academic and work/career related needs. The WorkReady U Adult Education Instructor also works with students to determine potential barriers to their success to obtaining, retaining and/or advancing their career and works with them to implement solutions that ensure their success.
Instructor - Anatomy and Physiology Lecture or Labs	SOWELA	Lake Charles, LA
Teach college-level biology courses in anatomy and physiology lecture and/or lab formats. Responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, moderating classroom discussions, and administering and grading examinations. Maintains accurate grade and attendance records. This role is also responsible for organizing a variety of events for the college and the Foundation.

The supervisor is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing specialized facilities management services, while ensuring the campus buildings, grounds, systems, equipment, and supplies are maintained. The scope of work includes completing preventative maintenance schedules as well as restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Creating and delivering reports, presentations, trainings, and other communication are essential functions.

The Learning Facilitator drives instruction with student data, creates and develops student educational plans, ensures site integrity and student success, maintains accurate records and fulfills WRU grant requirements that include class enrollment, retention, pre and post testing, and student outcomes.
