Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Manages WRU Student Information System (SIS) and Connectable Student Information System
• Review data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting requirements
• Collaborate with instructors, coordinators, and program leadership to resolve data discrepancies
• Maintain confidentiality and security of student records in accordance with FERPA and program policies
• Assist with periodic data audits, reporting deadlines, and compliance checks
• Participate in professional development opportunities and mandatory internal and external meetings as required
• Create a culture of data to ensure variety of performance indicators are captured and used to drive program iteration and growth
• Foster student accountability, self-advocacy, self-awareness, and critical thinking skills
• Promote participation of students in all aspects of Adult Education programming
• Adhere to LDCC's Standards of Practice
• Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• An associate degree or coursework in business, information systems, or a related field, plus three years of related experience
• Experience in secretarial or administrative coordinator duties
• Strong business communication skills including written and oral as well as aptitude with Microsoft Office (i.e., Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Power Point, Excel, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• A bachelor's degree in business, information systems, education, or related field
• Experience working in adult education, workforce training, or grant-funded programs
• Familiarity with student information systems; experience with WorkReadyU
preferred
• Knowledge of and experience in Adult Literacy/HSE testing procedures
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
NOTE: This position is a grant funded position, and the continuation of the position is dependent upon funding availability. Continuation is based on the program meeting state and federal benchmarks.
