Full-time faculty are expected to support the institution’s mission and vision and adhere to college-wide policies and procedures. Full-Time faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. They may teach during traditional weekday hours, evenings, and/or weekends and may deliver instruction in multiple modalities, including online, hybrid, and on-site courses held at any of the College’s instructional sites, including its dual enrolment sites (high schools). Full-time faculty are also responsible for the assessment of course and program learning outcomes for the revision and development of courses and curricula. Full-time faculty also advise students and engage in service, professional development, and the promotion of a collegial atmosphere. Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.

The Flood Mitigation Program Coordinator and Instructor is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and delivery of a specialized workforce training program focused on teaching students how to elevate existing structures to mitigate flood damage. This role will begin as a co-instructor as part of a train-the-trainer model, eventually transitioning into the primary instructor and full program manager. The Coordinator will ensure program alignment with industry standards, safety regulations, and instructional best practices.
