Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and directing the activities of the Finance Department. This position manages the day to day activity associated with accounting for and ensuring adequate control of the College’s financial resources. The incumbent supervises various accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles as well as Federal, State, and agency regulations and oversees the timely and accurate preparation of the College's annual financial report and other regular reporting required by the Louisiana Community and Technical College System and other State oversight agencies.

The Senior Information Technology Technician provides all on-campus IT services to Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College as well as mentor and upskill the efforts of other IT Support staff. The position also promotes and directs successful student learning in keeping with the learning centered values and strategic goals of SOWELA Technical Community College.
