This person will support the directors and band members through a variety of tasks, including: assisting with budget; organizing band camps, events, rehearsals, and travel; managing inventories, including instruments, equipment and music; and performing other general office related tasks. Under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Student Life, the Event Services Manager is responsible for ensuring events are ready for guests, directing set-up staff, ensuring equipment is in working condition and all staff communication. This position requires sound judgment and decision making in the absence of the full-time staff. The Event Services Manager should be familiar with the goals, policies and procedures of the David L. Eisler Center operations and be able to coordinate and direct the activities of other student employees. Responsibilities for carrying out the David L. Eisler Center policies and regulations include assisting with hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling student managers and set up staff. |
