Utilize different skill sets to diagnose hardware and software related problems on a variety of devices. Ensure that all repair work is performed safely and accurately to improve the longevity and usability of the equipment for the benefit of the university. Provide additional support to the Walk-Up and Desktop areas as needed. Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalency. A valid driver’s license. Adjunct Instructor - Dentist

| Working with dental hygiene faculty, adjunct instructors, and staff to provide supervision and evaluation of dental hygiene students in pre-clinical and clinical courses, dental radiology, and other dental hygiene courses. The supervising dentist works under the direction of the Dental Hygiene Clinic Operations Supervisor. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of this position is January 2026. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). Must be a DDS/DMD, licensed to practice in Michigan. Must have a Michigan Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance license. | The Department of Construction Technology & Management invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. Primary responsibilities include teaching and advising students in a four-year BS Construction Management program (accredited by the American Council for Construction Education – ACCE) and in two separate two-year AAS programs – Building Construction Technology and Civil Engineering Technology. Teaching assignments will be from a wide range of construction technology and construction management topics. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. Tenure awarded at a previous institution is required to be hired at the rank of Associate Professor. The anticipated start date of this position is August 2026 at the earliest and January 2027 at the latest. Required: A master's or higher-level degree out of field with at least one bachelor's or associate's degree in field and five years of relevant industry experience directly related to courses being taught OR a bachelor's degree in field and seven years of relevant industry experience directly related to course taught, or an associate's degree in field and any baccalaureate degree and seven years of relevant industry experience. | The School of Automotive and Heavy Equipment invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and teaching courses in the Associate in Applied Science Automotive Service Technology Program and in the Bachelor of Science Automotive Engineering Technology Program, in lecture and lab formats. This position requires utilizing a variety of methods and techniques to assure student attainment of course outcomes and the utilization of assessment methods to monitor success. Other duties may include the delivery of courses off campus, development and delivery of on-line courses, serving on department, school, and college committees, and student advising. The focus of the courses being taught would be towards the eight ASE certification areas. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses or approved FSU sites. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. | The College of Business at Ferris State University seeks a pool of outstanding applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in business and management. Faculty are expected to create meaningful, student-centered learning experiences, provide academic advising, and incorporate current technology into their instruction. The successful candidate will contribute to curricular development, participate in assessment of student learning, and support ongoing program enhancement. We seek someone who is committed to engaging students beyond the classroom, supporting existing academic initiatives, and mentoring students beyond traditional advising expectations. Faculty are also expected to engage in scholarly or professional activities and participate in department, college, and university committees. Off-campus and online teaching may be required. Courses will be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's campuses. The candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date is August of 2026 at the earliest and January of 2027 at the latest. Required: Doctorate (Ph.D. or DBA) in Management or a closely related field. If the doctorate is in a closely related field, a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Management courses are required. ABD will be considered. Degree must be from an accredited institution.
