| The Ferris State University Art Gallery seeks a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work up to 28 hours per week to support the Director in managing both the Fine Arts Gallery and the Card Wildlife Education Center. The areas of responsibility will be to: Assist with planning and executing exhibitions and events/receptions Design and coordinate printed materials Support transportation, installation, and deinstallation of artwork and exhibition materials Serve as a gallery docent and engage with visitors Perform general clerical and administrative tasks Assist with inventory management and custom framing of artwork and collection items This position requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for events. The anticipated start date for this position is September of 2025. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Required: College coursework in art, art history or biological sciences. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. Equivalency for education is two years of full-time related work experience equals one year of education. Valid driver's license. Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word. |
