Summary of Position: |
Process course equivalency requests and participate in and support the Transfer Articulation Process Committee, MiTransfer Network and Pathway initiatives, CollegeSource TES (Transfer Evaluation System), and academic credit opportunities for student veterans and Assessment of Prior Learning. Researches and creates data reports and relevant analyses, and other related tasks. |

Satisfactory completion of two years college coursework or equivalent. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: |
1. Process course equivalency requests, track requests and record the equivalency in BANNER and CollegeSource TES. 2. Answer course equivalency questions for prospective students, current students, and Ferris faculty and staff.. 3. Participate in and support the Transfer Articulation Process Committee. 4. Support University MiTransfer initiatives. 5. Support CollegeSource TES in collaboration with the program director. Answer faculty questions and utilize CollegeSource TES workflow for course equivalency reviews. 6. Support academic credit opportunities for student veterans. 7. Maintain Assessment of Prior Learning (APL) electronic files and supports the program director with the APL process. 8. Review, and provide updates for relevant webpages. 9. Maintain electronic files for all areas of responsibility. 10. Assist in the gathering of data for institutional key performance indicators and outcomes. 11. Assist with data reports. 12. Assist with coordination of on-campus or off-campus transfer related events. 13. May attend transfer related meetings 14. Answer and respond to Transfer Services Center email and phone calls. 15. Supervise student employees as appropriate. 16. Any other duties assigned within the position classification area. 17. Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff and community members. |

1. Serve on committees and task forces at the university. 2. Cross-train regarding other specialized areas within the office. 3. Participate in appropriate professional development and training activities. |

Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills • Presentation skills with small or large groups Ability to: • Develop and maintain the goals of the University and Department. • Work with a diverse population of students, faculty and staff. • Use relevant software and databases (e.g., BANNER, MyDegree, WebFocus, CollegeSourceTES, as well as Microsoft Office). |
