| The College of Engineering and Technology at Ferris State University seeks a diverse group of outstanding applicants for a full-time, 9-month, tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the Department of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR). Primary responsibilities include preparing and delivering courses, utilizing effective methods that ensure that all course outcomes are met, and delivering courses in both a classroom and an on-line format, advising and recruiting students, developing industry relationships, developing curriculum, and serving on various committees within the department, college, and the university. Candidates are expected to foster a meaningful learning experience for our students, faculty are expected to be student-oriented, advise, and integrate current technology into the learning environment. Additionally, faculty will participate in collaborative efforts to foster curricular efforts, participate in assessment of student learning, and further develop programmatic enhancement. Specifically, we expect the candidate to be willing to engage students outside the classroom, support and expand our existing academic initiatives, and be willing to mentor students beyond a traditional academic advising role. In support of teaching, candidates will engage in scholarly/professional activities and participate in department, college, and university committees. Off-campus and online teaching may be required. Courses are to be taught in person on one of Ferris State University's Campuses. The candidate(s) selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment and will perform duties at a Ferris site. The anticipated start date of these positions is August of 2026 at the earliest and January of 2027 at the latest. Tenure awarded at a previous institution is required to be hired at the rank of Associate Professor. |

Primary responsibilities include teaching and advising students in a four-year BS Construction Management program (accredited by the American Council for Construction Education – ACCE) and its two-year AAS program – Building Construction Technology & Management. Teaching assignments will be from a wide range of construction technology and construction management topics. Candidates are expected to foster a meaningful learning experience for our students, faculty are expected to be student-oriented, advise, and integrate current technology into the learning environment. | The Assistant Registrar for Retention & Completion supports student retention and timely completion by monitoring academic progress, coordinating outreach, and assisting students through key transitions such as withdrawal and awarding processes. This position maintains accurate academic records, administers various software products, and analyzes data to identify trends and continuous improvement efforts. This position collaborates with campus partners, develops surveys to collect student feedback, and contributes to initiatives that reduce barriers to degree attainment and enhance overall student success.
