Student Assistant: Explore Camp Program Assistant in Pensacola - Main Campus
UWF Explore Summer Camps is an academic-based summer camp program offering a variety of summer camp themes each week from Explore Hogwarts to LEGO Robotics. A program assistant is needed to work in the camp office preparing necessary supplies prior to summer, maintaining inventory and creating shopping lists for each camp program. During the summer the job includes the setup and breakdown of necessary supplies, signs, and other needs for the camps each week. Additional duties may include running reports, sending emails, and preparing weekly paperwork and nametags. Position is 10-15 hours a week during the spring semester and up to 25 hours during the summer semester. Shifts vary, but will be between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

The Department of Movement Sciences and Health within the Ushu Kundu, MD, College of Health at the University of West Florida, in collaboration with the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC), is accepting applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level and an accompanying 25% FTE Research Scientist appointment at IHMC. The successful candidate will teach graduate coursework and/or other courses assigned by the department chair. The candidate will engage in scholarly activity, and university and community service. In conjunction with the College’s facilities and resources, the joint appointment comes with full access to the facilities, resources, and environment at IHMC, including the new, state-of-the-field IHMC Healthspan, Resilience, and Performance Research Complex—a 40,000-square-foot complex containing an interdisciplinary blend of clinical/applied and molecular/cellular research capabilities and $12.4M of new, leading-edge equipment. We seek candidates with expertise in muscle physiology and/or cardiovascular research capable of conducting independent translational research from molecular and cellular physiology to in vivo phenotyping, emphasizing mechanistic human clinical trials. Candidates are expected to engage in interdisciplinary collaborations, establish an extramurally supported, high-impact research program, provide research mentorship for graduate and undergraduate students, and teach a limited number of graduate or undergraduate courses. Graduate Assistant- Residence Life Hall Director (Fall 2025/Spring 2026) in Pensacola - Main Campus
The Hall Director reports to a Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) and collaborates with their supervisor to shape the environment and experiences of residential students by providing services and programs. All positions within the Housing & Residence Life department begin with mandatory training in mid-July each year. This is a full-time training which runs through early August. All assistantships require some scheduled night and weekend obligations per semester. These obligations can be associated with major department events, including, but not limited to: move-in weekends and hall closing days. As with any live-in position, staff members are also responsible for handling crises as they occur within or outside of office hours. These assistantships will average 30 hours per week over the course of the academic year.
