The Opportunity

Monash University Library is seeking an experienced and creative Subject Librarian with a passion for teaching, curriculum enhancement and student skill development.

An exciting opportunity exists to contribute to Monash University's social inclusion strategies through one of two library positions funded through the Higher Education Participation Program (HEPP).

As the Subject Librarian, you will work closely with the Learning Skills Adviser (Social Inclusion) and other Library staff, to provide information services, resources and information research skills programs with a focus on the University's HEPP aligned strategies of improved access, participation, retention and success for students from low socio-economic status (SES) and diverse backgrounds.

Related library programs and services share these goals. You will be a member of the Peninsula library and library faculty teams, and work across the campus libraries to develop and implement collaborative information research and learning skills programs promoting and utilising inclusive teaching practices.

If you feel that you have the skills and experience to make this role a success your application is encouraged.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

Your application must address the selection criteria and demonstrate your knowledge and skills in teaching in a diverse and socially inclusive environment. Please refer to "How to apply for Monash Jobs"
